King of Fuji, Olasunkanmi Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, is bereaved. The music maestro has lost one of his daughters, Olaronke Wasilat Anifowose Marshal to cruel death.

Wasilat, who was in her 30’s, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday in Mississauga, Toronto, Canada, where she lived for long; after a brief illness.


As we speak, the Fuji Czar is so devastated that as disbelief, blank stares, unable to think, are just some of the ways those around him described his response to Olaronke’s death, as she is known to be one of the favourite children of the Fuji Czar.

Among many other reasons, K1 was particularly fond of Wasilat, because she was the only child of her mother, who died many years ago.

Those who knew Wasilat when she was alive, would attest to the fact that she was a lady of exemplary character and she was loved by everyone who knew her.

K1’s former manager and the now Vice Chairman, Isolo LCDA, Bayo Olasoju, reposes that,’May Almighty God give us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

‘We love you but God loves you more. Asabi Olaronke Wasilat, continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.’

The family of the deceased was yet to officially confirm the death as at the time of filing this report.

Although, prominent Nigerians and his fans around the world have been sending condolence messages to him since the news broke out.
