Folarin Falana, aka Falz, has opened up about his forthcoming show, ‘The Falz Experience,’ which will be held on December 20 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In an encounter with GoldmyneTV, he admitted that he was a bit nervous ahead of his upcoming show.

He explained, “If artistes who do shows say they are not nervous or afraid, they are just telling lies. The truth is you want your show to be successful and it will be at the back of your mind that it must not flop, especially being your debut edition.”

He said, although there were concerns, he would do everything to deliver a different show.

“By the special grace of God, I believe it will be a great event. The ‘Falz Experience’ is not a regular concert; it is a different kind of show. As you all know, I am three persons in one body. I am into films, comedy, and music; so, all the elements of entertainment will be put on one show. No one has my kind of brand. We are trying to change the game, set standards and do things differently.”

While admitting that he is also affected by the economic recession, he said he didn’t allow that to hinder him and there were people who had supported the dream financially and technically.

“Recession has affected everyone, but I have to do this. I have sponsors and supporters; so, even though the recession has hit me, I still have people who are helping me.”

On why he waited this long before having a debut show, he stated, “Though I wanted to do it last year, I felt I wasn’t ready for that. I had to wait for the right time. In everything I do, I put in all my best.

“No doubt, it has been tough putting all this together. I have had the idea for my show long-ago, but I didn’t know how I would do it or make it happen because it is a massive production.”
