Nigerian rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, aka CDQ, has become the first artiste to feature the embattled singer, Kiss Daniel.
Recall that while he was at G-Worldwide record company, Kiss Daniel was only featured by people on his label.
In a chat with Showtime, CDQ, who just released his latest single, Gbayi, featuring Kiss Daniel, said, “Kiss Daniel and I have got chemistry. It’s natural when two people connect musically and have a good heart. I guess that’s why the collaboration worked out between me and him. We are both exploiting each other because we are tapping into each other’s fan base. Basically, we just got musical connection and we vibe, just like it happened between Davido and I , and Wizkid and I.
“Being the first Nigerian artiste outside G-Worldwide to feature Kiss Daniel wasn’t something I expected to happen so soon. This means that there is something he saw in me also before choosing to work with me. So, there’s nothing like anyone taking advantage of the other.”
