Patoranking covers Guardian Life Magazine, reveals the song that best describes him

Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie better known by his stage name Patoranking graces this week’s cover of Guardian Life Magazine.

Born and raised in Ijegun-Egba, Patoranking started his musical career doing underground collaborations with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie.

In today’s edition of Guardian Life Magazine, the singer talks about his career and how he has risen from the streets to the World.

He also got to talk about his hit song ‘Alubarika’ as the one song that best describes him.

In his words;

“I was able to tell people where I am headed and where I am coming from; within three minutes I was able to sell myself to the world.

“Alubarika brought me out from the underground to the mainstream.

“Underground is the root. It’s a is beautiful thing starting there. It is like planting a seed; many people don’t see the process that goes in, all they see is the tree. I think it was very important to my career.”
