Nigerian music star, Wizkid enters Guinness World Book of Records 2018

Nigerian musician, Wizkid has become the first Afro-pop artist to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records, big thanks to his contribution to Drake’s ‘One Dance’.

Although the song is technically Drake‘s single, Wizkid has songwriting credits for the One Dance which has the Guinness World Record as the most played song on Spotify with over 1 billion streams.

And as we already know, Nigerians have claimed the success as Naija’s own-rightfully so. The 2018 edition of the Guinness World Record named Wizkid in its most recent book.
