Nigerian dancehall act, Burna Boy was accused of being complicit in a recent robbery attack on his colleague, Mr 2Kay.
Edgal Imohimi, Lagos state commissioner of police, on Monday (Nov. 20), asked Burna Boy to report to the police station for questioning over the incident.
The police claimed it had arraigned the suspects of the robbery who confessed to receiving instructions for the execution from Burna Boy’s road manager, Joel Kontiock – who has denied any involvement in the case.
However, in a new turn of events, the ‘Rock Your Body’ singer released a statement on the ongoing issue via his Twitter page on Tuesday.
