The 2017 edition of Felabration, an annual celebration of the late Afrobeat legend came to a spectacular end on Sunday night, amidst performances by some of Nigeria’s biggest stars.
The event which held at the New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, Lagos, was packed to the brim as thousands made the yearly journey to pay respect to a hero of the culture. There were thousands in the packed venue, and outside was a carnival, with several thousands of people seeking entrance.
Still basking in the euphoria of his sold out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Wizkid made his first appearance at a Nigerian concert this year. His performance was met with cheers from an excited crowd.
